This March, UNT SWE hosted two Science and Engineering After School Programs at the North Branch Library. During the first program, students of Denton ISD launched paper airplanes and determined what the best design and materials make the best airplane. In the second program, students competed in the Engineering Olympics, and they did 4 different challenges where they built towers out of Styrofoam cups, craft sticks, and wooden cubes. Special thanks to Isabella Venegoni, Sheena Lindorm, Estefany Lazo, Sammy Zellner, and Ashley Mares for volunteering for these events!
