Points
Points are how members can become member of the month and even officers!
Here's some ways to get more points!
- 1 Point will be awarded…
- If UNT SWE merchandise is worn to class and a photo is submitted to [email protected] or posted on social media (be sure to tag UNT SWE in the photo if it is posted on social media).
- If UNT SWE merchandise is worn to a meeting.
- If UNT SWE merchandise is worn to a volunteer event.
- For every hour spent volunteering at fundraising events, such as concession stands or fundraising nights.
- For each photo taken at a UNT SWE event that is emailed to [email protected] or posted on social media (be sure to tag UNT SWE in the photo if it is posted on social media).
- For posting a constructive comment on a UNT SWE blog post on our website.
- If a member brings a friend to a meeting: one point per friend.
- For filling out the post-meeting survey.
- 2 Points will be awarded…
- For every hour spent volunteering or planning for the following events: professional, outreach, or recruitment events. These include but are not limited to:
- Mean Green Fling
- Girls and Engineering Day
- Design Your World
- For each meeting, including committee meetings, social events, or professional development events (excluding volunteer events and concession stands).
- For securing a donation of funds ($1-$249).
- For every hour spent volunteering or planning for the following events: professional, outreach, or recruitment events. These include but are not limited to:
- 5 Points will be awarded…
- For talking to STEM classes about SWE (must provide the professor's signature for proof).
- For writing a UNT SWE blog post that can be published on social media and our website.
- For securing a bronze donation of funds ($250-$499).
- 10 Points will be awarded…
- For attending a career fair or a Dallas SWE event.
- For presenting at a STEM conference.
- For securing a silver or higher donation of funds ($500+).
