"Hi! I'm Ria Gupta, I’m a second-generation immigrant from India and I have loved engineering since grade school. I was in any STEM club I could be in during the summer and the school year and being a Mechanical Technology Engineering major continues the circle. I love reading, painting, and ceramics (I’m even pursuing a minor in it). I’m so happy to be part of SWE, it's given me great opportunities to talk to professionals as well as other women in my field. COVID-19 has really impacted my college experience and my social life and I'm so happy that SWE is making the best of it!"

"Hi! My name is Abigail Hunter, and I am studying biomedical engineering with a focus in biomechanics at UNT. When I graduate, I hope to design medical devices to help individuals with impaired mobility, so they may become more self-sufficient. At UNT, I am primarily involved with SWE, but I also try to attend club meetings that align with my other interests, such as philosophy. I love to draw, be outdoors, help others, and learn new things."
