Jonathon Cerda

Solutions Engineer at Splunk
EE UNT alumni 2020. Jonathon is a servant leader who is passionate about helping underrepresented communities with STEM enablement. He is currently focusing on helping students that are enrolled in University curriculum and those who are looking to transition from the service industry to a technical career.
Jonathon is an electrical engineer by education with research experience in computer vision and image processing. While attending school he served as the President of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers at UNT. He now works as a solutions engineer on the Virtual Sales Engineering team at Splunk. He also serves as a board member for the UNT College of Engineering DEEN program. He is a solutions engineer. Jonathan acts as a consulting engineer through the sales cycle. When someone wants to buy our product he makes sure that they fit all of the technical specifications and more for their use case.

Danielle Felty 

Sr Controls Engineer at Engineer at Walt Disney World Resort
Dani Felty, P.E., is a senior controls engineer for Walt Disney World Design and Engineering where her responsibilities include design, testing and implementing new rides with a continued focus on sustaining existing ride and show systems worldwide.
While earning her Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering at Texas Tech University, she started her career at Disney as an intern on Disney's Animal Kingdom sustaining engineering team in 2009.  In over 10 years at Disney, she has had the privilege to work on projects around the globe, supporting projects such as Shanghai Disneyland and Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. ​

Melissa Douglas

Mechanical Engineer at Microsoft
Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Melissa is a Mechanical Engineer working on Mechanical Enclosures and Finishing Engineering (MEFE) Team at Microsoft. She's held previous internships at Autodesk, Cummins and in research at Howard University where she gained a number of invaluable skills. She recently graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from Howard University where she was heavily involved in student orgs and volunteerism.
