This January, UNT SWE hosted their first Science and Engineering After School Program of the Spring 2016 semester. Students of Denton ISD joined us at the Denton North Branch Library to make Binary Code Necklaces. With the help of our volunteers, students made necklaces that represented their names in 1’s and 0’s (or black and white). Special thanks to Ashley Mares, Isabella Venegoni, Sheena Lindorm, and Sammy Zellner for volunteering for this event!
Tonight, UNT SWE kicked off the 2016 Spring Semester with SWE-et Tea Time! Iced Tea was served along with snacks.
We were so happy to see everyone tonight, and we're looking forward to the first general meeting of the Semester. Good luck on your studies! |
