On Wednesday, September 23, 2015, the UNT Society of Women Engineers hosted their second Science and Engineering After School Program for students of Denton ISD at the Denton North Branch Public Library. With the help of our volunteers, students built mini roller coasters using insulation tubing, tape, and marbles. Special thanks to Ashley Mares, Isabella Venegoni, Sheena Lindorm, Alejandra Sifuentes, Rachel Hobbs, Diana Pham, and Sammy Zellner for volunteering for this event!

On October 8th, 2015 from 5:00pm-8:00pm UNT SWE will be hosting a fundraiser at Mooyah (Burgers and Fries) on W. University Dr. in Denton, TX. If you mention that you are with UNT SWE, a percentage of your meal will be donated to our chapter! Invite all of your friends to come out for some delicious burgers, fries and shakes.
