This February, UNT SWE hosted two Science and Engineering After School Programs at the North Branch Library. During the first program, students of Denton ISD built paper towers and engaged in a friendly competition to see who could build the strongest tower. In the second program, students learned about the scientific method by making lava lamps out of Fanta and oil. Special thanks to Isabella Venegoni, Sheena Lindorm, Sophia Sheikh, Estefany Lazo, Olivia Haynes, Sammy Zellner, and Ashley Mares for volunteering for these events!
