On Wednesday September 21st UNT SWE volunteers went to the North Branch Public Library in Denton to host a STEM activity for students. This week we created marble roller coasters out of foam tubing. We challenged the students to a competition to see who could build the longest roller coaster with the most loops. The 17 students in attendance were able to have fun and gain knowledge in the STEM field. A special thanks to Jessie Lanier, Isabella Venegoni and Manuel Delacvaz for volunteering at this event!
