Today we gather to celebrate the wide range of women and their accomplishments. Strong women, dedicated women, confident women that put themselves in positions that not only further themselves but all women together.
This years theme "press for progress" aims to highlight the strides we still have left to make in order to bring women up to the standards that they deserve.
Let us raise our daughter and our sons in a way that the next generation can appreciate and respect each others unique qualities rather than their gender expectations. and let us not be ashamed of stating our opinions, our beliefs, for we matter.
