This past April, UNT SWE hosted two Science and Engineering After School Programs at the North Branch Library. During the first program, students of Denton ISD designed and built candy bridges out of gumdrops, toothpicks, and popsicle sticks. In the second program, students made Ice Cream In-A- Bag, and learned the chemistry behind why the experiment worked. Special thanks to Isabella Venegoni, Sheena Lindorm, Estefany Lazo, Sammy Zellner, and Ashley Mares for volunteering for these events!
